Born and raised in Sonoma County, I have since lived in San Francisco and San Diego, thanks to my educational pursuits. I completed my undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University and continued directly onto my Master's program, which I completed at the age of 24 at UC San Diego. This journey has not only equipped me with a deep understanding of International Business Management but also enabled me to experience and appreciate the diverse cultural landscapes of these vibrant cities.
Traveling has been an integral part of my life and personal growth. I've had the opportunity to explore Europe, Argentina, and Mexico, immersing myself in different cultures and experiences. One of my most memorable trips was visiting my best friend in Argentina, whom I met in grad school, and spending quality time with his family after a long gap due to the pandemic.
Of Mexican heritage, my roots extend to Jalisco, where much of my family still resides. I make it a point to visit as often as I can, especially to spend time with my beloved grandparents. Being bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English has been a valuable asset in both my personal and professional life, enhancing my ability to operate in international business environments.
Beyond my personal background, my professional journey spans over five years of expertise as a senior analyst and executive consultant. I have built my career across diverse industries, focusing on revenue operations, data analysis, business consulting, and leveraging data-driven strategies. I am proficient in multiple business intelligence tools and CRM platforms, reinforced by my certifications in HIPPA Data and Data Analytics for Business Professionals.
Hobbies:
Equestrian Pursuits: Hailing from a family of farmers and workers in rural Jalisco, I grew up amidst a variety of animals. This instilled in me a fondness for horseback riding. I find a unique joy in hopping onto the saddle and taking a ride whenever possible. Despite a minor mishap leading to my only broken bone, the incident did not dampen my spirits. I healed, learned, and continue to ride with as much enthusiasm as ever.
Archery: My stint with archery began in graduate school when I signed up for a class alongside my best friend. This hobby, although slightly on hold in recent times, holds a special place in my heart, and I look forward to picking up the bow and arrow again soon.
Traveling: A fervent traveler, I love exploring places – be it the next town, state, or even overseas. My travels allow me to experience diverse cultures and environments and infuse my life with enriching experiences.2023 I took a backpacking trip through Europe!
Hiking: The vast, rugged landscapes of California have always appealed to me. I enjoy venturing out on the coastal trails, most recently having explored Alameda Falls and the awe-inspiring Muir Woods (also known as Mount Tamalpais). These excursions into nature are rejuvenating and provide an excellent counterbalance to my professional pursuits.
